The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel - Season One

I didn't think I'd like this, but I gave it a chance anyway, because I'd heard a lot of good things and Jen Kirkman is one of the writers. I'm glad I did watch it, because it was pretty much perfect. Even when it was bad, it was good.

Jen Kirkman - I'm Gonna Die Alone (And I Feel Fine)

I'd never really heard of Jen Kirkman until I started listening to Pod F. Tomkast (R.I.P.), where the funniest part of the show was when, every episode, the host would call her up and she would tell a ten minute story that put me in tears. That lead me to watching this, which turned her into one of my all-time favourite comedians.

The Standups - Season 1

Beth Stelling and Deon Cole are hilarious. The rest are fine.

Ricky Gervais: Humanity (2018)

It's not bad, in spite of the fact that half of it is just him complaining about Twitter.

Chris Rock - Tambourine (2018)

Don't drag me into your friggin divorce, man. I wanted to watch some dang comedy.

Eddie Murphy Delirious (1983)

The good parts are good but the bad parts are really bad. So bad that if Eddie Murphy was white, the Intellectual Dark Web would be writing think pieces about how society betrayed his dream of punching women.

Steve Martin and Martin Short Netflix Special (2018)

When I was young, old guys like Bob Hope would do meandering specials like this. I'd watch them and find them fairly funny but think, "What am I missing?" I get it now.
